AFAIK and FWIW japanese doesn't have 'L' there's not "la li lu le lo" 
but "ra ri ru re ro" so 'Lite' would be written as 'Rite' i.e. ¥ê¥Æ

maybe is just that... so it's intentionally accidental ;-)
