Hey It is possible. However I remember fixing that. Thing was I uploaded my tarballs and then tested it. So I found the problem. I then fixed it, re-tarred them and _then_ sent the announcement. It could be you might have grabbed the "intermediate" tarballs or the problem still remains. Will check... Cheers!
