...sort of indicates that the sqlite executable is valid and functioning as the library as well (I think) and that the sqlite build scripts knows this and where it is?  :/   Yes/no?

I am worried that my build of Ruby itself might be flawed.  (Not Ruby, but the build running on BeOS).
