Maybe you already know this, but I just realized that I should have mentioned for the benefit of other people who may be unfamiliar with English slang that "X Rocks" roughly means "X is Awesomely Great!". For example, sometimes you see people mention that Linux Rocks or that Python Rocks. So "the Ruby Rocks book" is a bad pun (where "bad" often means "good" when referring to a pun)--although some people think this is a terrible pun (where "terrible" really does mean "bad"), and that I must be off my rocker to come up with things like this.
