Yes, that is what I mean.  The nightly snapshot says it is not (very)
stable: "It may contain unfixed problems. (as usual ;-)" so I'm thinking
of a snapshot without experimental code.

Maybe it would help to be clear about which snapshot this is: 1.6.3, 1.7.0
or what?  Or be more clear about whether you mean:

	"This is basically stable, but there could be a few bugs",

as different from:

	"This is not really stable, there are likely to be bugs".

Hmm the RAA says that Ruby is new today, but the ftp site says it isn't.
