No comments on the license; I'll leave that to others.

What strikes me (and this may be insignificant to other people) is this:
The code doesn't *have* to be elsewhere on the web, but could be on the
local machine. This gives the familiarity of the browser interface and the
power of Flash, all used to manipulate/display local data.

Just a thought.
