I think I recall that Squeak Smalltalk (open source) has implemented support
for Flash without the use of Macromedia's software. Someone adventurous
and interested in Flash may be able to copy some of that code into Ruby
(plus some GUI with a canvas, I don't know if Tk has what it takes?)
