Sorry about the frustrations getting hold of the book. I've copied you 
e-mails to our contact at Addison Wesley, asking if there is any way
we can get their distributors to deal with this better. I'll let you
know what she says.

From what I remember, though, this isn't something that AWL have
direct control over. Each national distributor chooses the books they
carry.
