I have just tried to reproduce this, and like so many "live demos" it
failed to produce the error....  I got the error with the elide patch
needed for earlier versions of Tcl/Tk when using them with Tkman, but
I no longer have this patch, because it is not needed with recent
versions of Tcl/Tk.  I cannot find it on the web, so I can't reproduce
this.
