Check out www.cetus-links.org - it's a *big* site for everything OO.
One of my favourite books is The Object Primer by Scott Ambler.
It may be out of print now. Gives a very nice intro to OO using the CRC
card method. Other good books are "Designing Object Oriented Software"
and Grady Booch's books.
