That seems preternaturally pedantic, not to mention preposterously punctilious--so much so that I'm almost automatically aroused to fits of alliterative apoplexy. The first 200 returns from Google show that both UNIX and Unix forms are very common. Ditto for LISP and Lisp. And as for FORTRAN and Fortran, the all caps form is on the endangered species list.
