In the last 2 days, I noticed some missing USENET posts, both at home and at
work. However, they *did* turn up on deja.com.

At least one other person has seen the same behavior, apparently with
different cases of dropouts between their newservers.

Does anyone know if this has been a (long term or intermittant or rare)
problem for other newsgroups? Any idea of what the (specific) cause is?
Anyone know where deja.com is on the USENET distribution web (or whatever)
and why them seem immune to this?

I'd like to be a little bit better informed before making
inquiries/complaints to my ISP.
