Here's the GIMP running on Mac OSX: http://www.tenon.com/products/xtools/ using an X server from Tenon called XTools. so, GTK on OSX isn't a problem. i don't know what Tenon plans to charge for it, but something based on XFree86 is also available (for free). it's not worth developing for MacOS 9 or earlier versions, IMHO. ---Matt
