Hello,

I've searched around for any tips on how to compile Ruby 1.8 for Mac OS 
X.  My configure gets stuck while 'checking whether /usr/bin/cpp 
accepts -o...'.  I used 'CPP=/usr/bin/cpp ./configure'.

This is my first project I'm trying to compile for OS X.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
