I have a tutorial session on securing sensitive data (and will be using Ruby as the example language of choice :) Also, on a somewhat related note, we (MySQL) are having our first annual user conference in about a month in San Jose. We have set aside tables for community projects - including Ruby. I have chatted with Sean Chittenden about getting some Ruby people to do booth duty, but thought that I should probably mention it here as well.
