We're running Ruby Central on a shared IP using the hostname to differentiate between different Apache instances, so using just the IP won't work. One thing that just occurred to me is that just using http://rubycentral.org won't work currently. I let that one slip. Will have to fix it after I've slept. :) If you want to try the IP, you'll have to modify your hosts file (or whatever it is on your platform of choice), so you can add this IP and refer to it by name.
