First of all, we know that no software project is complete until
the T-shirts are made... ;)

Secondly, I have an idea which I will email to you, Matz (as soon as
I scan it). By the way, I see no reason there shouldn't be more than
one T-shirt.

Thirdly, I have been wondering something. There *must* be a Japanese
word for "ruby" (the jewel), right? I have wanted to know how to write
it, kanji or katakana or both. I asked my friend Miho about it -- the
one who obtained Matz's Japanese book for me (so I could read "the code
between the kanji"). She said, "We just write 'ruby' -- Japanese people
think it's cool to use English words." She may have misunderstood me,
thinking I meant just the language name. But anyhow, Americans
sometimes think it is cool to use Japanese words. :)

I keep trying to think of some kind of pun based on the chant (I am
probably getting this wrong) "Namu myoho renge kyo." Maybe we could
just use the slogan, "Ruby is the jewel in the lotus." Then if we could
get the company Lotus to sponsor Ruby development... ;)
