Hi, After you execute the rubyxxx.exe, do you see a Ruby folder in the Windows startup program menu? If yes, you can just select the "RubyWin" sub-menu. It will bring the editor/execution environment for you. To get the Ruby FAQ, you can use the power of Google (http://www.google.com). If you just type "Ruby FAQ" there, the first entry is "www.rubycentral.com/faq/". To start learning Ruby, you can try the on-line version of the "Programming Ruby" book by Dave Thomas and Andy Hunt. Again, if you type "programming ruby" in Google, the first entry is "www.rubycentral.com/book/". If you just can follow the book up to the "When Trouble Strikes" chapter, you will be in great shape. Good luck!
