sample code from Mr Nagai:

 @timer = TkAfter.new(interval, 1, proc{show})
 @timer.start

"show" will be called by Tk.mainloop after "interval" ms.

(1: don't loop, -1: loop if I remember well. please verify in tkafter.rb
