Great!  Would you put a tarball of the retranslation so anyone can
download it all at once?  I am the maintainer of Ruby Users Guide
package of FreeBSD and would like to provide your version rather than
the original one to the users.

Sounds nice..  I'd suggest that you contribute it to be adopted as a
part of the official Ruby documents..
