I am thinking of  upgrading our Windows NT servers from Ruby 1.6.7
[i586-mswin32] to 1.7.2 over the week-end.

This is mainly to get performance benefits from the IO.readlines  function
which is much faster in the new release.

My question to you all is, should I be aware of any  "gotcha"s.

I am using the "standard" Ruby (no special libraries etc.) doing some
parsing (using Regex). Nothing fancy ...

Any suggestions, warnings are highly welcome.

BTW, I do not see 1.7.2 being declared as "stable" on RAA. Is that a big
issue ?
