Me either...

It's a shame. I've learned German for five years(three years in
my high scool and two in my university).

But I think it's the problem of the curriculum in Japanese schools.
If one graduated university in Japan, he or she has learned English for
ten years. But very few people can speak English well. 
It's crazy, isn't it?

BTW. Germany is one of the countries where I really want to go.
I like German novels, German music and German motorcycles(BMW).

Since I live in the east coast in the United States, it's easier
to go to Germany than from Japan. I'll visit there someday.
