After a couple of dormant years, Rote 0.3.8 has been released. This is
primarily a maintenance release that fixes a number of issues with
current Ruby and Rake versions. I know that a few people are still
using Rote and have been having issues with newer versions of the
platform, and so have pushed out this release.

Rote is a Rake-based text-templating system primarily aimed at the
generation and management of static website content. Rote supports
ERB, plain-text markup in a variety of formats, static resource
management and a flexible plugin system, all in a Rake-based
dependency-managed build environment.

Rote can be installed via Rubygems (gem install rote) or downloaded
from rubyforge (http://rote.rubyforge.org).
