Well . . . a lot of big Ruby projects use Git . . .

. . . but I prefer Mercurial.  I think Rubyists get to make up their own
minds about these things, and even if people use Git, they join *this*
list to talk about Ruby rather than about Git (or Mercurial or
Subversion, or whatever).
