Actually, this conversation does raise a question...

'http://www.hotpita.net'[7..1000]

I've always assumed the [] operator for strings short-circuits after it 
hits the first index that's out of range, but I've never actually looked 
into whether or not this is the case.

Anyone care to shed some light on this?
