This may have sneaked up on a few people?  But now seems to future
"full" Ruby support.

Localizations. Currently Eric is available in English, German, French,
Russian, Czech, Spanish, Italian, Turkish and Chinese.

I saw no mention of RoR.

With Ubuntu it is possible to install this IDE with all dependencies
(?) directly with the Synaptic Package Manager.

I am not using it yet, just taking a look on one of my research
journeys into Python....
