I have developped a "big" soft in python and that made me knows it well... Now, I'm learning ruby and I like both... What I like in ruby is the all-object like smalltalk (that I learned too). What I like in Python, is the "self" argument who can be helpful to do a "beautiful code" in certain case... Maybe Python have a better base of code-examples, 3rd-parties contribs, etc... For GUI, ruby seems to have cool links : Tk, Cocoa and more... But I didn't see a high-level toolkit for RubyTk for example, like Pmw in python which is as useful as it is a good code sample. But my knowlegde of Ruby is not big I have just started last week and program my own tree classes "just to see"... -- Jayce Piel ( jayce / mosx.net ) Site Web sur MacOS X (Server) en franíÂis : <http://www.mosx.net/> Pourquoi il ne faut pas activer le compte root ?
