> ObRuby: How is Ruby catching on in countries other than Japan and the U.S.? > Anything interesting to report? Here in Italy, Ruby is absolutely uknown, even among Linux comunity and script programmers. I am a technical contributor at Linux&C (http://www.oltrelinux.com), the number one technical italian magazine talking about Linux, and I have never heard somebody saying anything about it. It will be interesting to write some articles on Ruby; it is the only way to spread it. So, is there an italian writing who knows Ruby on this mailing list? Jilani ps. Ruby lacks documentation and some -- small but many -- examples to be understood. Ruby is not a simple language to learn, because it is not possible to a language to be easy and object oriented, general purpose and complete, all together.
