Carl: > I'd like to echo someone elses comment that while most *users* > are using Windows I don't think most *developers* are. I don't think there are many Ruby applications yet that have much more "users" than "developers", or in other words, I think there are more Ruby "developers" than there are Ruby "users" (in the sense that a Ruby "user" doesn't do any Ruby programming). The poll at rubygarden entitled "I run Ruby primarily on" had 34% on Windows (I think all of them have been "developers"), and as the popularity of Ruby increases I suppose this percentage will increase, too. I'm too lazy to want > to keep track of one language for this platform, and another language > for some other platform. That's also my situation. I almost ever have to work on a Windows box at my clients, and since I do quite some work for them at home I also have Windows here and use it most of the time. Regards, Pit
