What address did you send the E-mail to? 2. Did you get a response back by E-mail? If so, what was the content of the response? 3. What list or forum are you trying to unsubscribe from? This one is visible via multiple gateways 4. If it was the ruby-talk mailing list, did you try http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/community/mailing-lists ? (By the way, the link to "the manual way" at the bottom of that page is broken.
