I tried this. His binaries are for cygwin and mingw only, and I
couldn't get the makefile he uses to work with my version of MYSql - I
suspect that he's assuming tht mysql is compiled from sources using
the appropriate compiler and I'm using pre-built libraries.

Lyle has sent me a Makefile which I'll be trying this evening.
