XRuby was started by yawl and continued by dreamhead at about the same time JRuby created, but JRuby had only an interpreter then (I think) when XRuby released its ruby to java bytecode compiler. Then Sun and ThoughtWorks came. With Sun's support JRuby became more and more usable and popluar; After dreamhead join ThoughtWorks the development of XRuby nearly stopped, as you can see on http://code.google.com/p/xruby/source/list -- Jan > > Cheers > Robert > > > -- > Ne baisse jamais la tóÕe, tu ne verrais plus les ñÕoiles. > > Robert Dober ;) -- jan=callcc{|jan|jan};jan.call(jan) --DocE+STaALJfprDB Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJJI3QwAAoJEBcDvo3O83d6PdgH/imL+WwBdBYfl1ZolBwRKj+G 3HlVQ6xGvbZYC4T5TPzdZqtHIY63D//QiPWhFP1cJIaHHEZ/qQNb2XvpCEU3vc3a y9DwOK0gbw5xksQEy/D5+T7reifHCB5f94nkhq1YVbjibBTMmVJSLS6tLJ7+8iqS uXQawT+EZe9n8CsGIUNUWKHSrGns5fJjkbjo1SUfcuDZ0Y6Mg4uaoB2CBbQhj8+I sZPBBzb0OmGOovvIXANxssAb+2mxT6PhVLpXKgcLbKz7VZaKkSEMM9oHf08BdPA4 B0z5yDSFIAgQvJDAxsmkwXVjVMpX3/AU3FzqS7QZIg23W24HmLg4yOqpi7Qqhak rb -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --DocE+STaALJfprDB--
