dave, the problem is: when someone reads ur book, itll take him 2 days up 
to maybe a week to be able to drop it and doing great and useful programs.

i once had a java book, a horrible one, it didnt really explain words like 
"subclassing", it just assumed an intelligent reader would know what that 
means, and the idea of object orientation was explained in three lines 
there.
well: all my classmates know bout this book, cos i coursed so much about 
it, but where does your book get its publicity from? you read it, do some 
exercises, laugh once loudly and youre a programmer, and the time is just 
too short to tell your friends; instead you tell them that *ruby* is a 
great language.

u need to write worse books =)
