Yeah. that'd be me... I'm a tard.

I saw it only once late last night and didn't have the brains to  
debug. It also wasn't showing up in the main thing I was working in  
(zentest has a small set of files, rubinius does NOT--again, no brain).

It is patched up and fixed in 3.9.1.
