MS Outlook Express 5 shows the mess above. For better or worse (hmm, pretty
obvious choice here :-), this is what a great many people are using.

More seriously still, it was also garbaged on groups.google.com (at least
from the dual perspectives of MS IE and Netscape 6); see message 8 in the
