I have seen several reports on this list on appeareances of
Ruby in different medias.

Two month ago, I have posted an introductionary article on Ruby in
a Hungarian Linux portal.

Of course it must be quite cryptic to most of you, but
the Ruby code-snippets may be understandable even in
