Also, I like some of the notational conventions of Mathematica.
For query methods, it uses Q. So you get functions like:

PrimeQ
OddQ
EvenQ
IntegerQ

Really nice and consistent.

So, in other languages you could do

fred.primeQ or fred.prime_q
fred.nilQ or fred.nil_q
