I'm thinking of a scenario where, let's say, I want to transform this:

   <chapter><title>History of AT&amp;T</title></chapter>

to

   \chapter{History of AT&T}

All I need from the XML parser is the text that occurs as the children
of the chapter/title node. I don't want or need any XMLly-correct
output from the parser.
