I have successfully installed Guy Decoux's Ruby/bdb and the
Berkeley DB on Linux.  I would also like to install it on
Windows, but SleepyCat only provides source code for Visual C++
on windows.  I don't have MSVC++.  Can anyone point me to an
executable for the Berkeley DB or maybe how to compile on MinGW? 
I have hunted everywhere and am at a total loss.  Any pointers
are greatly appreciated.
