Hi, From: Yukihiro Matsumoto > A publisher agent contacted me about another Ruby book. Of course I > can not write book in English. He wanted to find somebody. I was asked > to look in this list. Anybody? > > Qualification: > > Fluent(?) English ability > Preferably living in the states > Knows deeply about Ruby > Better not writing another book on Ruby ;-) Seems like they might also need at least 2 people to meet those requirements. Are they willing to do an open source book, as it were? Rather than reinvent a nearly completed wheel--which will be a rather hard act to follow, IMHO--maybe they should do a "Ruby Cookbook", hitting the primary topic areas in the popular "Perl Cookbook" and "Object Oriented Perl". The ruby-talk mail archive and the Ruby Application Archive source code also contains a rich source of Ruby programming idioms to mine. They could use also comp.lang.ruby (-: #### vote now! #### :-) to solicit feedback on 2 or 3 or 4 important topics selected from the above sources per day. Conrad
