Hi. I just played around with some inline documentation systems like javadoc, doxygen, rdtool and others. Do we really need yet another one with rdtool? I wourd suggest to put all effort in one inline documentations system like doxygen and then to just add support for new languages to this system. doxygen for example is already able to handle different languages and there are already feature requests to support even more languages. So why not just put Ruby support in doxygen and throw rdtool away? For doxygen have a look at http://www.stack.nl/~dimitri/doxygen/ and especally at http://www.stack.nl/~dimitri/doxygen/arch.html -- Until the next mail..., Stefan.
