I'm trying to install ruby under my home directory on a Solaris 5.8
sparc machine.

I ran ./configure with the --prefix switch to point to a directory
~/ruby

and then ran /usr/local/bin/make to override the sun one on my path.
That failed with the error below;

Can anyone help me?
