OK...I know this is REALLY geeky, but I have realjukebox on my laptop and can record directly to MP3.  Recording at 56kbs is about 49MB/hour (I have 8GB free).  If the conference is mic'ed we can record using line-in.

I mean, I was going to bring my laptop for notes during the conference, but I can use it as a really expensive tape recorder if necessary ;)

Also, I have a good old fashion tape recorder (wow) and we could use that.

Thoughts?
