I sent this question to the organizers (organizers / rubyconf.org) the other
day, but hadn't gotten a response yet.

Does anyone know what kinds of presentation equipment will be available for
presenters at RubyConf? I'm working up a Powerpoint presentation but didn't
know if I'd be able to hook my laptop up to one of those nice projector
thingies. Should I just print the Powerpoint slides to transparencies, in
the event that we've only got regular overhead projectors?
