When looking around for imlib (mentioned in the gtk-0.23 Readme file) which
some Ruby/GTK+ examples use, I found the following note:

"It is worth noting that, for a number of reasons, GNOME will not be using
imlib in the next Major release. Instead, it will moving over to
gdk-pixbuf."

So I am wondering if there any plans to convert the Ruby/GTK+ examples and
such to use gdk-pixbuf?
