It's interesting, a number of people complained (fairly or otherwise) about the programming style used in the FXRuby example programs but you're the only one who responded to this post ;) Maybe it's not such a sensitive issue as I'd been led to believe. I did find the beginnings of a style guide on the RubyGarden wiki: http://www.rubygarden.org/ruby?RubyStyleGuide but I think I'm already following those guidelines, more or less.
