  For non Gnus users this procmail recipe works:

:0 hc
* ^X-ML-Name.*ruby-talk
SUBJECT=|formail -xSubject: | cut -b 20-


:0 fbh
* ^X-ML-Name.*ruby-talk
| formail -i "Subject: $SUBJECT"


  This only strips the leading numbering...  perhaps sed would be a
  better choice rather than cut. (at least it helps when I do
  sort-by-subject in rmail under emacs)
