This has been historically caused by M$ MUAs. They're famous
for breaking threading for one reason or another. I'm using mutt and it
does a good job of threading out the messages, but when someone posts w/
one of the M$ clients it breaks the threading almost always. Webmail
programs that support threading also see a disconnect w/ threads from an
MS poster so I'm pretty sure it's not a mutt issue. <:~( -sc
