Having started this thread based on ESRs comments on the python-devel
list, I thought I'd throw in another opportunity (this time from
http://lwn.net/2001/0802/#security and http://www.securesw.com/rats).

RATS, the Rough Auditing Tool for Security, is in beta for a 1.1 release.
This new release features security auditing support for Perl and Python in
addition to the original C auditing capabilities.  What value would there
be in trying to develop/add support for Ruby?
