Hi all,

I've been trying to do global matching (what would be / /g in grep or perl) but I cannot find any way to do it...

I need it to be able to do:

    a = "A stringgg with several thingggs I'd like to substitute"
    a.sub!(/gg/, '')

for all /gg/'s...
